What is Microdermabrasion?
Microdermabrasion is a treatment that helps reduce fine facial lines or wrinkles, age spots, sun damage, uneven pigmentation, clogged pores, skin texture problems, or minor scars which results in a younger looking complexion. A minimally abrasive instrument is used to gently exfoliate your skin, removing the thicker, uneven outer layer.
What will Microdermabrasion do for me?
Microdermabrasion exfoliates your skin, resulting in a refreshed appearance and can also:
- Improve black heads and age spots
- Improve hyperpigmentation
- Reduce fine lines and wrinkles
- Reduce or eliminate enlarged pores
- Diminish minor scars
What is a Microdermabrasion session like?
After relaxing in a comfortable heated bed, in a private room, your Esthetician will cleanse your skin and use a slightly abrasive tool to gently buff away the outer layer of skin. Concentration may be applied to particular problem areas, and a moisturizer with SPF is applied after.
How many Microdermabrasion sessions will I need?
Many people start with a series of 5-6 treatments at first and then one per month as part of a skincare maintenance plan.
