What is a Pagani STAR™ T-Shock Treatment?

The Pagani Star T-Shock Cryo Treatment is a non-invasive treatment that can remove unwanted fat or cellulite, tighten loose, aging skin or turn back the clock on your face, neck and décolleté.

LaVida Massage of Smithtown is the only location on Long Island offering the Pagani Star T-Shock with Static Pads as well as the Star Lymphatic Drainage system. This allows us to not only treat multiple areas at once, but offers the most effective results possible by removing fat deposits quickly through the post treatment drainage system.

How does it work?

The STAR safely and effectively uses thermal shock to target and naturally reduce fat cells without any damage to beneficial cells. The STAR treatment breaks down fat cells, which are naturally flushed out through the lymphatic system in days to weeks following the treatment. It’s a safe, painless, non-surgical alternative to liposuction and traditional technologies. STAR T-SHOCK toning helps reduce the appearance of crepey and loose skin, cellulite, fine lines and wrinkles by stimulating collagen and elastin production while strengthening muscles.

The Science Behind the Treatment:

The STAR uses the technology of the Peltier cell by safely and quickly generating heat or cold. Each session starts with a warming phase followed by rapid cooling. The combined effect literally “shocks” the cells which has a far more profound effect on the results vs. using only warm or cold. Temperatures are pleasant and non-painful. Skin and fatty tissue are subjected to triple thermal shock (heat-cold-heat) or (cold-heat-cold) which optimizes results.

STEP 1
Fat cells are very sensitive to heat and cold, and the variation in temperature allows for a faster, more efficient elimination of them.

STEP 2

What is a session like?

Your session begins in a comfortable room with an analysis of the areas you are concerned with using the Adicell Thermographic System. This system shows where you have hard fat and cellulite and helps your esthetician design your course of treatment. Your esthetician will take before photos and measurements after discussing your goals and your treatment plan.

The treatment is executed manually through slow massage over the selected area of the body. Each session will begin with clean skin followed by a light gel application. The treatment begins with heat or cold, alternating between the two at varying times and temperatures. It is a non-invasive and painless treatment that feels like a light massage.

After your treatment, and exclusively at LaVida Massage of Smithtown, your session includes a Star™ Lymphative treatment. This relaxing pressure therapy will move the now crystallized fat cells through your body to be expelled naturally. The Star Lymphatic is also a stand-alone treatment and offers the following benefits:

Side Effects...

You may have increased urination over the next few days as your body eliminates the destroyed fat cells. Temporary redness is common in the treated areas and only lasts a few hours. Rarely there is short term mild pain if the muscles in the area are engaged during the massage-like treatment.

Who should NOT receive these treatments?

Those who have received Botox of Fillers within four weeks prior to a facial treatment.
Those undergoing dialysis, having any type of kidney disease & anyone with only one kidney should not have a fat or cellulite reduction treatment.
Those with active cancer or undergoing chemotherapy should not have a fat or cellulite treatment
Those with an untreated abdominal hernia or diastasis recti should not have any fat reduction treatments in that area
Those with severe diabetes
Those with loss of sensation on the skin
Those with Varicose veins
Those who are pregnant

How many sessions will I need?

Every treatment program is different and will be discussed with your esthetician. While results are often seen after just one treatment, it is important to complete your program to get the best effect of your treatment. Some programs require several visits within a small window of time, others need to be spread apart by 2 week intervals.

How often can I receive treatments?

STAR T-SHOCK Fat and Cellulite reduction treatments are best for your stomach, love handles, under arms, bra-line, glutes, and inner or outer thighs. These slimming treatments can be performed once every two weeks. (Thermal Shock causes a reduction of fat cells, leaving adjacent tissue unaffected. The treated cells are evacuated through the lymphatic system and will eventually pass through the kidneys. Waiting every two weeks ensures that the lymphatic system and kidneys are not overloaded.)

STAR T-SHOCK Toning and Tightening treatments are best for your face, arms, legs, back, abdomen and stomach. These Thermal Shock treatments can be performed every 2-3 days.

When will I see results and how long will they last?

T-Shock Fat & Cellulite Reduction may require 5 or more sessions over several months to see the best results.

T-Shock Tone & Tighten results are more immediate and also may require multiple sessions to achieve optimal results.
